The Contents Of The Parallel Programming Course
Each workshop will cover advanced high performance computing (HPC) topics in parallel programming and numerical methods, and targets researchers currently embarked on HPC related research in South Africa. The workshop will be presented by renowned international HPC expert, Professor Jack Dongarra, director of the Innovative Computing Laboratory, Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, at University of Tennessee, USA.
Brief Bibliography Of Prof. Jack Dongarra
Professor Dongarra is an acknowledged expert in computational linear algebra, and also one of the compilers of the Top 500 list of supercomputers, which uses his Linpack benchmark to measure and rank the world's fastest computers.
